2.1 What is a fundraising page?

A fundraising page is a special webpage with a URL that you can use to support a charity.

Ask your team or colleagues to sponsor you by simply sharing the link to your fundraising page.

Anyone who makes a donation to your fundraising page can also leave a message of support.

You can support or start a fundraiser for any charity which is registered on Fortescue Heart.

2.4 How do I setup a fundraiser?

2.5 I want to fundraise for a charity but I don’t see them on the website. What is the process for adding them?

Charities must be approved by the Community Support Committee in line with Fortescue’s Community Support Policy and meet certain criteria to join the program including Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) Item 1. You can check to see if a charity is DGR Item 1 by searching the Australian Business Register here.

If you wish to add a new charity, please contact community@fmgl.com.au

There is an annual fee to register with GoodCompany. Details can be found here: www.goodcompany.org.

2.6 Can people outside of Fortescue donate to my fundraising page?

Yes. Simply set up your fundraising page and then SHARE the link with your friends and family. Family and friends will be directed to the main GoodCompany website where they will be able to contribute via credit card payment.
